Economics is the study of all values including politics and ethics. This site will analize
and comment upon practices and events surrounding all values but will not moralize. These papers are
intended as a first step in any scientific project

Moral Modes
There are only a few general modes in morality and ethics almost all of which use the
concept of help or harm as a hidden or self-evident foundation. All modes are based on self-interest.
Here are some of the basics as
observed.
1 -- whatever your culture does is best -- probably the most common ethical
position in the world. Solves many
intellectual issues in ethics because it acknowledges that ethics is branch
of politics and so offers the fewest
hurdles for it's accceptance. Problems include: a cause of war and genocide,
a cause of much confusion to people knowledgeable of other cultures,
a cause of much suffering which is overlooked, like circumcision, and the torturing of enemies
and a cause
of frequent self contradictions.
2 -- whatever you feel is best -- adjunct to cultural norms but with more choice and so less need for
cultural confusions and contradictions. Probably the third most popular ethical mode.
Problems include: disconnected
from culture, stress from working out own system,
and depressing mistakes (causing unintended harm to all).
3 -- whatever you do just for yourself is best for everyone......

Whales and Carrots
The Impossibility of 'Goodness'

Vagans, Vegetarians and anti-vivisectionists have a lot to answer for.
Over twenty years ago a Russian scientist proved that fresh carrots have feelings
- they don't like being cursed at and like being praised by children. (Imagine
what they think of being eaten).
When the fur and fin and fruit huggers pick up a fruit that fell
naturally from the tree, they're still going to kill all those friendly bacteria and funguses
with their anti-bodies.
And it turns out
those whales they're trying to save were guilty of helping white whale hunters in Australia
kill their own breathren. What was worse, these orca did it just to eat the tasty
tongue of the humpback
- they wasted the rest. Where will it all end?
No matter where you turn in life you will be the main destroyer and you will be
just like the unfair child who is always ready to
expand the
'wingless fly' universe. See it?

All the fuss going on in the States regarding Mexicans crossing into the US, and also regarding things like
the anthem being sung in Spanish, shows what has been the case lately in any and every
country: the hogwash attached
to multiculturalism. The truth is we are all racists or need to be.
Of course hypocrisies abound on this issue, but it is the adjacent dangers
which make my point. For one, without 'racism' everyone would have nothing in the cultural sphere to value.
But first it's the hypocrisies that matter.
When Texas was a part of Mexico, English
American immigrants crossed the border into Texas, Mexico without
controls on their numbers. Eventually, as these immigrants made no attempt to assimilate,
these 'Americans' used their high numbers in that province to steal this
territory away for their home country. We all know the rest because this famous
theft has been spin doctored
to death for everyone forced into the American sphere, including Mexicans.
Now the present reversing of the situation has the American spin doctors recognizing their own
precedent. They can see a potential Mexican population takeover of some, if not all, of the states
as a major challenge to the American race. And they have the present example of Kosovo to stoke their fears and hypocrisy.
Kosovo is a recent example but not the only one. This
province of Serbia is more important to Serbians than
any Alamo or George Washington. It is their 'Jamestown' and their 'Plymouth'. It also
'happens' to border Albania so when over a hundred years ago uncontrolled immigration from Albania to Serbia
occurred it set in motion a series of events - from the higher Albanian birth rate, to mutual expulsions,
to the Serbians given minority status in their own homeland by Westerners
It must give any half-wit 'Texan' pause and make him think that any
regionally strong group, from chinatown to
poortown, could, if they're not careful, do the same thing to his 'state' as the
Albanians have been permitted to do to Serbia (but were not allowed to do to 'friend'
Macedonia). He might recall this is what Americans have done to
Mexico and he could expect Mexico to do it right back at 'em......
